Advocacy is integral to all programs at Uday Foundation for Congenital Defects and Rare Blood Groups. Uday Foundation continues to challenge assumptions around congenital and health issues and works to influence the government’s health policy.
Uday Foundation advocates for the equal right to non-discriminatory treatment and other issues of every child with congenital defects and fights to ensure that instances of discrimination are addressed appropriately.
Founders of Uday Foundation has strong linkages with human rights groups and agencies such as Lawyers, Human Right Activists, International Birth Defects Associations, International NGO working on Intersex Rights.
Uday Foundation’s efforts in sensitizing the government to different issues related to the epidemic includes petition on Intersex Issues and Human Organ Transplant Law.
